What do you do:
Ingredients (makes 2 10-12 oz servings)
- 3/4 cup frozen spinach
- 3/4 cup frozen pineapple
- 3 apples (cleaned and juiced)
- 1/2 lemon (peeled and juiced)
- 1/2 inch of ginger juiced
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds (soaked in water for 10-15 minutes)
Soak the chia seeds. They become gelatinous. This makes it easier for the body to absorb and easier to blend with the other ingredients. Add frozen spinach, frozen pineapple and banana to blender. Clean the apples. Peel if necessary (not organic). Peel the lemon. Juice the ginger, then the lemon and last the apples. Add the juice to the blender and add the chia seed mixture to the blender. Blend until smooth (1-2 minutes). Serve and enjoy.
